The Fruitport Calvary Christian girls basketball team didn’t let a slow start stop it from gliding to a 65-36 win over West Michigan Aviation on Tuesday.
The Eagles trailed 13-9 after the first quarter but rallied to take a 30-20 lead by halftime.
McKena Wilson led Fruitport Calvary with 19 points, five rebounds, five steals and eight assists while Avneet Cheema tallied 16 points, eight rebounds, five steals and seven assists.
The Eagles were also led by Reagan Payton with 13 points, three rebounds, one block and one assist and Cate Anhalt had 12 points, four rebounds, four steals and three assists.
Fruitport Calvary is now 7-1 overall and 3-0 in Alliance League action.
