Fremont comes up on the short end of a 3-2 soccer game against Tri-County

HOWARD CITY –The Fremont girls soccer team fell to Howard City Tri County in the final round of the CSAA Conference Tournament on Friday evening.

The Packers lost by a score of 3-2 and took fourth place in the conference, while Tri County finished in third place.

A pair of Viking goals in the closing minutes would steal the lead and the win from the Packers.

Mia Clemence and Riley Chase each tallied a score, while Lili Isak added an assist for the Packers.

Macey Powers made 12 saves in the net.

Fremont (10-7, 6-5) is set to open up district play on Wednesday where they will host Whitehall.
