Ludington baseball overtook Benzie Central with a pair of wins on Tuesday.

The Orioles came through with 5-1 and 6-1 wins.

Jonny Weinert posted the victory on the mound, striking five while giving up just one hit on three innings pitched.

Ludington bats were led by Evan McCarthy and Stephen Weinert. McCarthy had a single and two stolen bases. Weinert had an RBI double.

Wilson Gunsell pitched for the win in the nightcap, striking out five on five innings pitched while scattering four hits. Gunsell also helped himself out at the plate, getting two hits and two RBIs.

Evan McCarthy also helped out with an RBI single for Ludington.
