ALLENDALE–Mona Shores won their third straight invitational with a score of 303 at the Forest Hills Central Invitational played at The Meadows on the campus of Grand Valley State University on Thursday afternoon.

Other team scores included Hudsonville (323), Portage Central (323), Forest Hills Central (325), Rochester Adams (328), Forest Hills Northern (330), NorthPointe Christian (334), Byron Center (336), East Kentwood (339), Northview (345) and Grandville (346).

On the par 71 layout, Chase Knowlton finished 2nd overall with a 73. Also on the All Tournament team were Nico Taylor (76), Alex Eckerman (77), and Jeff Lenartowicz (77).

Other individual scores for Mona Shores included Owen DeLong (80), Mitchell Taylor (81), Thomas Stewart (86), James Ackley (87) and Carson Andree (NA).

This is the second straight year that Mona Shores has won the Ranger Invite. The Sailors wrap up their busy stretch of their season Monday at The Tullymore Invitational.

The Sailors are currently ranked #2 in Division 1.

Mona Shores was coming off a Wednesday performance as they won the GMAA championship played at Stonegate Golf Club in Twin Lake beating 2nd place Reeths Puffer by 51 shots.

Jeff Lenartowicz was the overall medalist with a score of 74. Also scoring for the Sailors were Nico Taylor (75), Chase Knowlton (76), and Alex Eckerman (77).
