Mona Shores graduate, Conner Vallie, will be taking the hill this season for Muskegon. The 6-2 right hander enters the summer after being redshirted his freshman season at Davenport University.

Charlie Branch, a North Muskegon grad, is also on the Clippers’ roster. The right handed pitcher returns to Muskegon after wrapping up his first year at Lincoln Trail College in Illinois.

Muskegon’s roster also features nine other players from West Michigan.

Lukas Brewer, Nate Durham, James Geshel, Daniel Gutierrez, Mason Hill, Ethan Houghtaling, Isaac Tolle, and Carson Price are all Grand Rapids area natives.

Opening night also features free magnet schedules to attending fans.

The Clippers open their season with a 6-game home stand, facing the Royal Oak Leprechauns after their series with Detroit.

The Clippers are members of the Great Lakes Summer Collegiate League which is a developmental league for college athletes from all over the country.

These student athletes are looking to hone their skills, and possibly get spotted by baseball scouts as they hope for an opportunity at the next level.
