Western Michigan Christian goes 1-2 in Monday volleyball action

GRAND RAPIDS –The Western Michigan Christian volleyball team went 1-2 in a quad-match at Zeeland East on Monday evening.

The Warriors fell to Zeeland East (15-25, 21-25) and Spring Lake (18-25, 23-25), but found a win against Montague (25-15, 25-23).

Kendal Young had 42 assists and 17 digs, while Abby Leffering added 22 digs, 15 kills and four blocks.

Ashley Folkema contributed 22 digs, 13 kills and two blocks. Ella Hawke and Nora Anderson chipped in 8 kills and seven kills, respectively. 

Julissa TerHaar had 19 digs.

WMC will be back to action on Tuesday (Sept. 13th) at Muskegon Catholic.
