HUDSONVILLE – The Fruitport volleyball team posted a win despite having faced some extremely tight sets against Unity Christian on Tuesday evening.
The Trojans battled to claim the win in five sets (26-24, 21-25, 25-27, 25-23, 15-13).
Sadie Haase led the offense with 11 kills, while Raegan Dykstra had 12 assists and seven kills.
Kayla Kolberg and Tara Sweet held down the defense with 35 digs and 23 digs respectively.
Auebre Johnson, Gracelynn Olson and Hope Straley each added six kills.
Olson also contributed with 21 assists on the night.
Fruitport (9-11, 1-1) will be at home on Thursday to take on Coopersville.
