Hance and Chase lead Grant over Newaygo in Tuesday evening volleyball action

GRANT – The Grant volleyball team took down neighboring Newaygo in five sets on Tuesday evening.

The Tigers won 3-2 with set scores of 25-18, 20-25, 19-25, 25-23 and 15-7.

Jayci Hance led the way with 41 digs, five aces and three assists, while Payton Bouwkamp added three digs, three kills and two aces.

Also, Chloe Chase threw in 21 assists and Julie Ashbaugh made 14 digs and 11 kills.

Grant will travel to White Cloud on Tuesday.

Newaygo will compete in a tri-match at Holton on Thursday.
