KENT CITY–The Kent City volleyball team hosted the Coyotes of Reed City in Tuesday night volleyball action. The Eagles came away with the 3-0 victory to remain undefeated in the CSAA Gold. 

Kent City came out strong and jumped to a 13-2 lead in the first set. They never looked back and won it 25-11. 

The Coyotes kept it tight early on in the second set, but the Eagles quickly found their stride and ran away with the set, 25-13. 

Reed City stuck around longer in the final set, at one point taking a 12-10 lead, but again the Eagles held firm and took the set, 25-17, to win the match. 

Maddie Geers led the way for Kent City with 9 kills and 3 blocks. Lexie Bowers chipped in 5 kills and 12 digs. 

The Eagles improved to 19-4-1 overall and 6-0 in the conference. They are next in action October 3 for a league match against White Cloud.
