The Muskegon Lumberjacks were shut out for the first time this season in a 3-0 loss to Green Bay at Trinity Health Arena on Saturday.

Falling behind 1-0 after an Eli Sebastian first-period goal for Green Bay, Muskegon was not able to bounce back.

Nicholas Vantassell added a pair of goals for the Gamblers in the third period to close the door on Muskegon.

The Lumberjacks were outshot 30-25 as goalie Noah Rupprecht took the loss with 27 saves on the night.

Muskegon is now 7-6 overall and next plays on Friday and Saturday in Dubuque for a two-game series.
