FENNVILLE –The North Muskegon volleyball team won a back-and-forth match against Western Michigan Christian in the Division 3 district semi-final round on Thursday evening at Fennville.
The Norse topped the Warriors in five sets (25-16, 18-25, 25-18, 20-25, 15-8).
“The girls played so hard and kept their composure in a very emotionally charged environment,” said coach Kammi Eaker. “I could not be more proud of how they stepped up and rallied together to get the win.”
Joslynne Bogner made 15 kills, two blocks and scored two aces. Allie Jensen chipped in with 14 kills and 13 digs.
Sami Baker posted 39 assists, 23 digs, seven kills and four aces, while Natalie Pannucci added 10 digs, five kills and three blocks.
North Muskegon (22-13-4) will face off against Saugatuck in the championship match on Friday evening The action will be back at Fennville starting at 6 p.m..
