Mona Shores girls cruise past Grand Rapids Union

NORTON SHORES –The Mona Shores girls basketball team cruised past Grand Rapids Union on Friday to stay perfect in the OK Green.

The Sailors topped Union, 45-22.

Mona Shores jumped out to a 21-10 lead after the first half and didn’t look back. 

The Sailors outscored the Red Hawks 14-7 in the third quarter to extend their lead even further.

Logan Clausen led the Sailors with 11 points while Ali Phillips and Khaleeya Cook chipped in with nine points and seven points, respectively.

Mona Shores (8-3, 3-0) will continue league play as they travel to Zeeland West on Tuesday.
