HOWARD CITY – The Kent City boys basketball team continued to roll with its third win in a row on Friday evening. 

The Eagles cruised past Tri County, 67-46, in a CSAA win.

The Eagles opened with an 18-13 edge in the first quarter. Their lead grew even further as they outscored Tri County 17-10 in the second stanza to roll into halftime ahead, 35-23.

The offensive flow didn’t slow down in the second half as the Eagles rattled off 32 points to Tri County’s 23 points.

Despite the win, the Eagles struggled at the line and were 14-of-31 from the charity stripe.

Kyler Larson led the scoring with 22 points followed close behind by Jaret Jaramillo with 20 points. Seth Vanderwest hit for double digits with 10 points.

Kent City (3-3, 2-1) is set to host Grand Rapids Wellspring Prep on Tuesday.
