SHELBY — Biloxi Lee scored 11 points and hauled down 12 rebounds to lead the Shelby girls basketball team to a 35-29 victory over visiting White Cloud Monday night.

It was a see-saw affair, with the Tigers taking a 6-2 lead at the end of the first quarter. White Cloud came back for a 10-9 edge in the second, leaving the Tigers holding a 15-12 lead at the half.
 
White Cloud continued its run in the third quarter, outscoring the Tigers, 13-6 and vaulting into a 25-21 advantage. The Tigers pulled out the win with a 14-4 fourth quarter.
 
There were four lead changes and the game was tied twice. White Cloud had a six-point lead at one time and the Tigers’ largest lead was nine.
 
Other leaders for the Tigers included Molli Schultz and Kendall Zaverl with six points apiece while Aubrey Klotz contributed five. Zaverl led the Tigers with three assists while Schultz dished out two and picked off four steals.
 
The Tigers (6-5) return to action Thursday night with a non-conference game at Whitehall.

White Cloud (6-5) travel to Remus Chippewa Hills for nonconference action Friday night.
