KENT CITY–The Kent City and Big Rapids athletic departments have reached an agreement on rescheduling the Central State Activities Association Championship girls’ basketball game that was postponed on Thursday evening.

The Eagles (18-3) will face the Cardinals (19-2) on Saturday afternoon at Big Rapids High School.

All the action will get underway with the junior varsity game starting at 1:00 p.m., followed by varsity contest for the CSAA girls’ championship.

Kent City athletic director Jason Vogel is more than happy that the title game is taking place.

“I won’t go into details on the behind the scenes work that went into making this game even happen,” said Vogel.
