GRAND RAPIDS– Rockford’s boys and the Zeeland East girls finished first in Saturday’s Cougar Track and Field Invitational at Grand Rapids Catholic Central.
The meet attracted 19 teams.
In the boys’ division, Rockford took the top spot with 108 points. They were followed by Zeeland West with 101 and Grand Haven 67 points. Other local team scores included ninth place Hart (32) and 12th place Mona Shores (21).
In the girls’ division, Zeeland East took the top spot with 98.75 points. They were followed by Rockford with 86 and East Grand Rapids with 69 points. Local team scores included seventh-place Grand Haven (48.75), ninth-place Hart (33.75) and 14th-place Mona Shores (10).
