KENT CITY — Kent City’s Kyler Larson had a memorable day at the plate on Tuesday and led Kent City to a baseball sweep over Tri-County.

The Eagles won the first game, 13-2, and the nightcap, 13-3.

For the day, Larson had five hits, including two home runs, and 11 RBI.

In the opener, Kent City scored four runs in the first inning and four in the fifth.

Larson had two hits, including a home run, and knocked in six runs. Derek Rodenburg added three hits and Zane Kik had two RBI.

In the second game, Larson had three hits, one a home run, and five RBI. Webb Longcore also hit a home run and scored three runs. Zach Flegel pitched four innings, allowed three runs, struck out two and was the winning pitcher.
