KENT CITY– The Reeths-Puffer Rockets and Grand Rapids West Catholic captured division titles at Saturday’s Kent City Golf Invitational.

The fifth annual event was at The Falls of Barber Creek. There were 19 teams in the field.

The teams were divided into two divisions. Grand Rapids West Catholic won the Scarlet Division with a team round of 330 while Reeths-Puffer claimed the White Division with a 356.

Overall, West Catholic finished with top team honors. They were followed by Grand Rapids Covenant Christian (341) and Clare (348).

Overall, Reeths-Puffer finished in fifth place (356). Fremont camein at 361. Kent City finished with a round of 423 which put them in the 15th spot.

Local Top ten medalists included Kaden Drozd from Fremont, who shot a round of 76 to finish in third place while Reeths-Puffer junior Dylan Panozzo finished ninth at 84. Panozzo finished third in his division.

Other top finishers for Reeths-Puffer included Kristan Brown (87), which was ninth in the White division. Other Rocket golfers included Tanner Bonjernoor (92), Mason Cregg (93), Jake Lee (101) and Ayen Hartzell (117).

Top finishers for Kent City included: Adrian Hernandez and Adam Drent (105), Blake Carlson (106), Jim Anderson (107), Curtis Afton (117) and Wesley Wheeler (126).
