Reeths-Puffer dominates Muskegon in softball doubleheader

 

MUSKEGON — The Reeths-Puffer Rockets claimed a pair of OK-Green softball victories on Tuesday.

 

The Rockets defeated the Muskegon Big Reds 19-0 and 18-1.

 

In Game 1, the Rockets had nine hits, led by Jersi Bilek with four hits, including two doubles and a triple. Kaylee Jones had a double and a single. Mady Snyder, the winning pitcher, added a triple and Natalie Kunnen had a double.

 

Snyder allowed one hit, struck out six and had no walks.

 

In the second game, Natalie Kunnen led the way with a triple and a double. Jones added a triple and a single while Bilek had two singles. Snyder added a home run.

 

Kyliegh Bilek was the winning pitcher with a no-hitter. She allowed one unearned run, no walks and struck out eight.
