MUSKEGON — Reeths-Puffer’s Rockets had a tough day on the baseball field on Friday and dropped a 13-1 decision to the Allendale Falcons.
The Falcons wasted no time gaining the upper hand by scoring eight runs in the opening inning.
Trent Reichert pitched 3 2/3 innings for the Rockets and struck out six.
The Rockets managed five hits by five different batters. Allendale had 13 hits.
On Tuesday, Reeths-Puffer travels to Wyoming for a doubleheader.
