MUSKEGON — Mona Shores and Reeths-Puffer locked up in an OK-Green softball doubleheader.
 
And when it was all over, each team had a victory. Mona Shores won the opener, 8-6, and the Rockets took the nightcap, 12-4.
 
Brooklyn Graham was the hitting hero for Mona Shores in the opener with a pair of home runs. Grace Michelli, the winning pitcher, added three hits. On the mound, she allowed nine hits and one walk while striking out three. Kyli Geoghan had two hits.
 
Reeths-Puffer was led by Mady Snyder with three singles and Abbie Critchett with two.
 
In the second game, Sailor pitcher Kristen Hylland allowed 14 hits and struck out four. Hannah Geoghan had three hits. Graham, Kyli Geoghan and Michelli each had a pair of hits.
 
Kyleigh Bilek was the hitting hero for the Rockets with two doubles, a single and six RBI. Natalie Kunnen had three singles and Lainey McDonald had a pair of singles.
 
Mona Shores is now 13-16 overall, 8-4 in conference play.
