Dillehay also drove in two runs. Cole Johnson had one hit and three RBI and Brody Kaminski added a hit and scored two runs.

“Although losing is always disappointing, going into tonight was about getting ready for Saturday’s district,” said Ludington coach Evan Kroeze. “We feel like we accomplished that goal. We were able to get four different guys work on the mound, and offensively we had good at-bats for the most part throughout the game.”

Ludington enters the district with a 13-17 record and faces Gladwin in the semifinals in Kingsley.

North Muskegon takes on Kent City in Division 3 district action at 10 a.m. Saturday at Ravenna.
