GRANDVILLE — North Muskegon earned a berth in the Division 3 baseball regional finals on Wednesday with a 5-1 victory over host Grandville Calvin Christian.
 
The victory moves the Norsemen into the 12:30 p.m. Saturday regional final game against Lansing Catholic. That game will be played at Cornerstone University. Also, Chesaning and Watervliet will play at 10 a.m. Saturday at Cornerstone. The winners of those two games will battle at 3 p.m. in the quarterfinals.
 
On Wednesday, senior Troy McManus pitched four effective innings and allowed four hits and one run. He struck out three. Junior Ryan Delora came on and pitched the final three innings. He allowed no hits, no walks and struck out one.
 
Carter Mieler, Carsen Moat and McManus each had two hits to lead NM. Mieler had a triple and scored twice. Moat had a double and scored a run and McManus had one RBI. TJ Byard had a hit and knocked in two runs. Denny Belmonte had a double and one RBI.
