GRAND RAPIDS– The North Muskegon Norsemen saw their baseball season come to an end in the Division 3 regional final game on Saturday.
Lansing Catholic blanked North Muskegon, 7-0, and advanced to the state quarterfinals, where it defeated Watervliet, 6-4.
Junior Ben Meyers, senior Carson Moat and sophomore Carter Meiler each had a hit for North Muskegon, which finished the season 33-7-1.
Troy McManus took the loss on the mound. He pitched six innings and had three strikeouts. Logan Slimko and Ryan Delora also pitched for NM.
