MONTAGUE–Spring Lake’s Kody Vis highlighted the fourth golf event of the summer season of the Greater Muskegon Junior Golf Tour.

Vis shot a 65 at Old Channel Trail Golf Course on Monday morning in the boys’ high school division.

Salec Rodenbeck (Ludington) finished in second place with a 76 while Chaseton Sullivan (Muskegon) came in third place at 80.

Rounding out the leaderboard were Brady Tate (Montague-88), Jack Laughlin (Spring Lake-90), Luke Jones (Muskegon-91), Adam Vruggink (Spring Lake-92), Owen Malaski (Spring Lake-94), Jones McDowell (Whitehall-95), Drew Fox (Spring Lake-100), Barrett Nance (North Muskegon-100), Ethan Lisman (Spring Lake-103) and Dylan May (Ravenna-108).

Paige Anderson from Muskegon finished at the top of the leaderboard in the girls’ high school division as she shot a 73. Following her was Whitehall’s Grace McDowell with a 96 and Allie Van Antwerp came in third place at 97.

Other girls scores included: Braylyn Bultema (Whitehall-100), Kennedy Johnson (Montague-103), Rowan Bluhm (Muskegon-106), EmmaLee Fox (Twin Lake-106), Cadence Fox (Twin Lake-117) and Maizie Collins (Montague-129).

In the boys 6-8 grade division, Brennan Andres from Spring Lake took top honors with a nine-hole score of 44 while Alex Annema finished in second place with a 45 and Conor Irelan, from Spring Lake, came in third place with a 48.

In the girls 6-8 grade division, Maddy Erndteman shot a 54 and Reia Wiseman finished with a 68.

In the coed fifth grade and under division, Max Martin from Naples, Florida finished at the top of the leaderboard with a 36. Bryce Andres from Spring Lake shot a 37 and Brady Searles from Muskegon finished with a 38. Graeme Reed from Scottville shot a 45 while Sophie Balaskovitz had a 47. Rounding out the scoring were Hazel Grice and Vera Mott both from Montague as they finished at 57 and 68, respectively.

The next Greater Muskegon Junior Tour golf event will be played The Colonial Golf Course in Hart next Monday.
