HOWARD CITY – The Fremont boys soccer team opened up the season with a 3-1 victory over Howard City Tri- County on Wednesday.
Both teams were tied 1-1 at halftime before the Packers shifted gears and ran away with the win.
Deagan Klimek, Chaz Miller and Ian Berry each bagged a goal for Fremont while Killian Prewitt chipped in with a pair of assists.
Fremont (1-0) will visit Muskegon on Friday.
