WHITEHALL – The Fruitport boys soccer team remained undefeated as they cruised by Whitehall in non-conference action on Wednesday.

The Trojans bombarded the Vikings and won, 9-1.

Jorge Burgos Yack tied a school record with a six-goal performance.

Isaac Vandermolen, Grade Anspach and Ryan Mitchell also added a score while Braylon Marshall and Jaxon Stone recorded assists.

Goalkeeper Logan Werschem made two saves.

Fruitport (5-0) will open OK Conference-Blue play on Monday as its hosts Hamilton.

Whitehall (1-2) opens the league season when it travels to North Muskegon on Monday.
