HART – Ludington won their fourth straight soccer match, taking down Hart 5-0 in the Monday’s first action in the West Michigan Conference

The Orioles had four different players score, led by Parker Wendt who had two goals. Nathan Pearson, Aiden Malburg and Evan Erdman all scored as well. Ultan Ryan and Laken Nicewander each notched two assists.

Gabe Gamez and Caleb Sheldon both saw time in net, combining for the shutout with Sheldon recording one save. Ludington’s keepers didn’t see much work with Hart mustering just two shots on net, with one coming from Rivaldo Gonzalez and the other from Adrian Belmares.

Hart’s keeper Miguel Escamilla was responsible for eight saves.

Ludington moved to 5-2 overall and 1-0 in the conference. The Orioles return home on Tuesday to host Petoskey in a non-conference bout.

Hart (2-3) will look to rebound on Wednesday when they head to Montague for a matchup with the Wildcats.
