FRUITPORT –The Fruitport boys soccer team continued their winning streak with a 3-1 win against Hamilton in OK Conference-Blue play on Monday.
Jorge Burgos-Yack led the Trojans with a goal and an assist while Braylon Marshall and Elliot Effken each scored one goal.
Goalkeeper Logan Werschem had a pair of saves.
Despite the victory coach Dan Hazekamp believes there’s still more work to be done.
“I thought we had moments of solid play, but overall, we left some things out there,” Hazekamp said. “Credit to Hamilton for continuing to battle throughout the game.”
Fruitport (6-0, 1-0) travels to face a tough Holland Christian team on Thursday.
