MANITOWOC, Wis. — It was a clean sweep for the Ludington boys’ soccer team with a pair of victories in the Car Ferry Cup.

The Orioles survived a tough game in the opener, turning back Roncalli, 1-0, count and rolling to a 4-0 win over Lincoln Manitowoc in the second game.
 
Spencer Holmes scored the Orioles’ only goal against Roncalli and Gabe Gamez came through with 10 saves in net to earn the shutout.
 
Holmes scored two goals in the Orioles’ win over Lincoln. Also tallying goals were Parker Wendt and Ultan Ryan.
 
Yebe Boerman contributed three assists with Aiden Malburg adding another. Caleb Shelton was in goal and made five saves.

Ludington improved to 4-2 on the season and opens up West Michigan Conference action Monday in Hart.
