Fremont quickly shuts down Orchard View in league volleyball matchup

MUSKEGON – The Fremont volleyball team bagged a quick West Michigan Conference-Lakes win over Orchard View on Tuesday.

The Packers topped the Cardinals in three sets, 25-9, 25-9 and 25-15.

Kendall Barnhart led the Packers with eight kills, six aces and five digs while Taylor DeKuiper had four aces and Taylor Waite had seven kills.

Lil VandenBerg had 11 assists and Brynna Barnhart chipped in nine assists. 

Fremont (22-11, 3-0) will visit Whitehall on Tuesday for more league play.

Orchard View will have a conference match on Tuesday at rival Oakridge.
