Lady Jayhawks sweep by Bay College in three volleyball sets

MUSKEGON – The Muskegon Community College volleyball team moved to 3-1 in the MCCAA North with a victory against Bay College on Saturday.

The Jayhawks won in three sets, 25-15, 25-22 and 25-14.

Rachel Romero had nine kills, eight aces and eight digs while Kaitlynn Bennett chipped in 12 kills and three aces. Leah Ellis added 29 assists, five kills and a pair of aces.

MCC hosts Delta College for a league matchup on Monday.
