LUDINGTON — Despite running a few new plays which can be a difficult transition for any team, the Ludington girls’ volleyball squad cruised to a convincing three-set win (25-13, 25-14, 25-9) over Manistee in Hawley Gymnasium on Tuesday.

The Orioles had a balanced attack against the Mariners. Maddy Vaara continued her dominance with 18 kills while adding two digs, one assist and one ace.
 
Ashley McPike contributed four kills, three digs, four aces and one block. Jaelyn Laird finished with seven kills and three blocks.
 
Jordyn Anderson was the Orioles’ main facilitator with 28 assists and she added nine digs, four aces, five blocks and one kill. Mia Pung added nine digs and one ace. Mia Voss had five kills, one dig and one block. Mya Bryant contributed two aces and four digs while Karli Mesyar added 12 digs and two assists and Isabel Ramirez had two digs.
