Ludington tops Orchard View in three straight sets on Tuesday

LUDINGTON – Putting in some new plays didn’t slow the Ludington girls volleyball team down on Tuesday night as the Orioles rolled up an easy win over Orchard View in the WMC Lakes Division.

The Orioles topped OV in three straight with scores of 25-5, 25-7, and 25-7.  

Maddy Vaara led the way for the Orioles with 14 kills and she contributed two digs. Ashley McPike put down 10 kills and added four aces.

Jordy Anderson finished the match with 31 assists and served up nine aces with two digs and two kills. Karli Mesyar was the pacsetter on defense with 13 digs while Isabel Ramirez had nine.

Mia Pung contributed seven digs, Mia Voss , Jaelyn Laird and Lily Slater each had three kills.
