Spring Lake volleyball splits a pair of matches at GR West Catholic

GRAND RAPIDS – The Spring Lake volleyball team went 1-1 in a double dual on Thursday.

The Lakers found themselves in a battle against Hamilton, but managed to come out on top, 25-20, 30-28, 23-25, 24-26, 17-15. The loss came against host West Catholic in three sets, 18-25, 15-25, 16-25.

Kallie Lewkowski had 31 kills with seven blocks and Brooke Bolthouse made 42 digs and 20 kills. Ella Gapcznski chipped in 19 kills and four blocks.

Also, Brooklyn Beeler made 53 digs while Kara Constantine had 43 assists, 31 digs and four blocks.

Spring Lake (7-9-1, 1-1) will be at home on Saturday for a quad match.
