Whitehall cruises past Oakridge in league volleyball action

WHITEHALL – The Whitehall volleyball team opened up West Michigan Conference play with a victory on Tuesday evening.

The Vikings got by Oakridge in three straight sets, 25-15, 25-16, 25-14.

Arianna Black led the way with 14 digs, 12 kills, five blocks and three aces while Kayla Mulder had 11 kills and a pair of aces.

Sydney Shepherd had 26 assists with five blocks and Bella Fogus chipped in 12 digs.

Whitehall will visit Ludington on Thursday.

Oakridge will be at Ludington next Tuesday.
