Muskegon Catholic beats Pentwater, falls to Rivertown Christian in Tuesday volleyball action

MUSKEGON – The Muskegon Catholic Central volleyball team split a double dual at home on Tuesday evening.

The Crusaders fell in a tough match to Rivertown Christian (23-25, 20-25, 23-25) and took down Pentwater (11-25, 25-19, 25-16, 25-12).

Aubrey Shepherd had 12 digs and scored nine aces while Molly Caughey added six aces and a block. Daeja Hill had nine digs with three aces and Emily Muskovin had 27 assists.

Muskegon Catholic (1-3) will host Western Michigan Christian on Thursday.
