WHITEHALL – The Fremont volleyball team claimed its first victory over rival Whitehall in four years on Tuesday evening.

The Packers stayed perfect in the WMC Lakes Division and topped the Vikings 25-18, 25-14 and 25-20.

Kendall Barnhart had 11 digs, eight kills and three aces, while Baylah Parker chipped in 16 digs and a pair of aces. Taylor DeKuiper had two aces and two blocks.

Mia Clemence added nine kills and Taylor Waite had six kills and two blocks.

Fremont (22-11 overall; 4-0 WMC Lakes) will compete in the annual Volley Against Violence on Saturday at Hesperia.

Whitehall is set to visit Orchard View on Tuesday.
