CALEDONIA – Grand Haven ended its disappointing football season with another O-K Red Conference loss on Friday night.

The Bucs suffered a 55-21 loss to Caledonia to drop their record to 1-8 on the season and 0-7 in league play.

Grand Haven trailed 14-7 at the end of the first quarter, 35-7 at halftime and 47-7 through three quarters of play.

The Bucs scored on a 4-yard run by Dean Mattson in the first quarter, a 1-yard fourth quarter touchdown run by Gus Abraham and a 28-yard pass by quarterback Luke Berry in the final minutes of action.

Berry led the Grand Haven offense, going 8-for-15 passing for 74 yards and one touchdown along with two interceptions.

Mattson rushed for 45 yards and a touchdown on 17 carries for the Buccaneers while Chase Robinson added 41 yards from the ground on two attempts.

The Bucs defense was paced by Connor Vanbeek with eight tackles.
