HOLLAND – The Grand Haven Buccaneers just could not get their offense going on Friday night in a 38-0 loss to Holland West Ottawa.

The Bucs (1-7) passed for 11 yards and rushed for 95 in the shutout loss.

Dean Mattson led Grand Haven with 18 rushes for 66 yards.

Eli Ziska led the defense with six tackles. Braden VandenBerg and Chase Robinson had five tackles each.

West Ottawa led 21-0 after the first quarter and opened it up to 31-0 at the half.

Grand Haven will cap the regular season next Friday at Caledonia.
