HOLTON – Hesperia football experienced their best offensive output of the 2023 season on Friday, blowing through Holton 46-6.

The Panthers put up 528 yards of total offense against the Red Devils, breaking a string of seven straight losses to finish the season on a positive note.

Brock Bolles had his best game under center for Hesperia, completing 14 of 19 passes for 201 yards and two touchdowns. Blake Sayer had six catches for 76 yards and two touchdowns while Thor Klaus had five catches for 68 yards and a touchdown.

On the ground, Skyler Stalbaum carried the load for the Panthers. Stalbaum took 16 carries for 118 yards and two touchdowns. Wyatt Roberson had five carries for 44 yards and a touchdown while Bolles was good for 28 yards and a touchdown on five carries.

Defensively, Hesperia was led by Klaus with seven tackles while Michael Fekken and Fisher Spencer each had six. Stalbaum also had six tackles, adding an interception to his impressive night as well.

Holton’s offense was led by quarterback Riley Pierce who had 76 yards on the ground and 18 through the air, including an 11-yard touchdown pass to Brayden Wellman. David Addison added 55 yards on the ground.

Hesperia (2-7 overall) matched their win total from a year ago and ended 2023 on a positive note.

Holton finishes their season 0-9.
