WHITEHALL – Kyle Stratton threw five touchdown passes on Friday night to complete the Whitehall football team’s perfect regular season.

The Vikings cruised to a 68-0 victory over Orchard View to go 9-0 on the season and 6-0 in the West Michigan Conference Lakes Division play.

Stratton was 10-for-12 passing for 234 yards with his five touchdown passes. He also rushed for one score and 35 yards on three carries.

The Vikings, who await their pre-district playoff opponent, jumped out to a 21-0 lead after the first quarter. Darnell Mack rushed for a 43-yard touchdown, while Camden Thompson caught a 15-yard touchdown pass and Malcolm Earvin had a 57-yard reception for a score.

Whitehall increased its advantage at halftime to a 49-0 margin.

Trannon Aylor caught a 23-yard touchdown pass, Stratton rushed for a 17-yard touchdown, while Mack and Camar Ready caught touchdown passes from 35 and 46 yards out, respectively.

Aylor added a third quarter 90-yard kickoff return for a score, Earvin rushed for a 43-yard touchdown and Hunter Osborne scored on a run from 53 yards.

Both teams failed to score during the fourth quarter.

Mack rushed for 76 yards to lead Whitehall on five carries and a touchdown while Osborne had 68 yards on two attempts and a score. Earvin had two rushes for 45 yards and a touchdown.

Earvin led the Vikings with 78 receiving yards on two catches and one touchdown, Ready had three receptions for 69 yards and a score.

The Vikings defense limited OV to just 105 total yards of offense.
