JENISON – The Montague volleyball team had a tough day at the Jenison Invitational on Saturday.

The Wildcats went 0-4 with losses to Coopersville (25-21, 20-25, 14-16), Hudsonville Unity Christian (14-25, 13-25), Portage Northern (24-26, 11-25) and Jenison (14-25, 17-25).

Ava Plumford led with 17 kills, nine blocks and three aces. Maizie Collins had 18 digs, 14 kills and two aces while Britta Johnson chipped in 13 digs, nine kills, five blocks and four aces.

Jaelyn Sundberg contributed 60 assists, 20 digs and three aces. Jordan Netcott had 42 digs, two kills and an ace. 

Montague hosts Oakridge on Tuesday in league play.
