Muskegon Catholic takes two losses in tri match against Sparta and Ravenna

Muskegon Catholic Central dropped both of its matches against Sparta and Ravenna on Tuesday in a non-conference volleyball tri at MCC.

The Crusaders fell to Sparta in three games: 25-19, 25-20, and 25-15. Against Ravenna, MCC was able to squeeze in a win, but fell 25-3, 25-9, 25-27, and 25-13.

Emily Muskovin paced the Crusaders with 18 assists and 13 digs, while Lindsay Ladd had seven kills.

Aubrey Shepherd had five aces and 18 digs and Molly Caughey led MCC with four blocks. The Crusaders (1-7 overall) take on Wyoming Lee in an Alliance League match-up Thursday.
