SPRING LAKE – The host Spring Lake Lakers dropped a 27-13 decision to the Holland Christian Maroons on Friday night.
The Lakers scored on an 80-yard touchdown pass from Reid Grimmer to Jackson Lemmen.
Later, Grimmer ran into the end zone from a yard out.
Grimmer finished the night with 3-of-6 passing for 125 yards. Sam Schafer wa the leading rusher with 58 yards on 13 carries and Lemmen caught two passes for 120 yards.
Cam Gates and Bryce Collins were the leading tacklers with 11 each.
Spring Lake (5-2) travels to Fruitport next Friday.
Holland Christian improved to 4-3.
