BYRON CENTER – The Western Michigan Christian volleyball team went 1-1 in a tri-match to wrap up the regular season on Thursday.
The Warriors dropped a tight match to NorthPointe Christian (25-27, 22-25, 15-8) but topped Zion Christian (27-25, 25-13).
Ashley Folkema led with 21 kills and five blocks. Abby Leffring had 15 kills and four blocks, while Hannah Heiss chipped in 15 kills and a pair of blocks. Nora Anderson contributed 14 kills and three blocks.
WM Christian will compete in the Division 3 semifinal round on Wednesday at Saugatuck.
