NORTH MUSKEGON – The North Muskegon Norsemen jumped out quickly in the opening quarter on Tuesday and cruised to a 74-30 victory over Muskegon Catholic.

The hosts led 24-11 after one quarter and 47-20 at the half.

“We were able to get the game fast paced and jump out to a good first quarter lead,” said North Muskegon coach Chuck Rypstra. “Catholic battled us all night long and had some nice plays. In the end, we just played a little better.”

Lamarkis Graham led North Muskegon with 18 points, three assists and three steals. Adam Dugener added 16 points and four assists. James Young also hit double figures in scoring with 11 points. He also chipped in six rebounds and three assists. Jaxon Lisinski had nine points and five assists and Talan Thompson had nine points.

Jacob Lyonnais led Muskegon Catholic with eight points. Q Lorenz added seven.

North Muskegon hosts Ravenna on Friday.
