The Mona Shores volleyball team made easy work against Cadillac on Wednesday night, winning in three straight sets.

The Sailors advanced to a Division 1 district title game after winning with scores of 25-18, 25-14 and 25-19 to improve to 38-5 overall on the season.

Grace Allen led Mona Shores offensively with 16 kills while Kyann Hellman added 32 assists,12 digs and two aces. Jersey VanderWall chipped in with 12 kills and Mallory Hogston had three aces.

The Sailors were led defensively by Izzy Sturtevant with 23 digs.

Mona Shores will look to capture a district title on Thursday night against host Grand Haven at 7 p.m. Grand Haven defeated Reeths-Puffer on Wednesday night.
