Oakridge sails by Orchard View in Division 2 volleyball district semifinal; Fremont up next for title

WHITEHALL – The Oakridge volleyball team earned a victory against Orchard View in the Division 2 district semifinal match on Wednesday.

The Eagles topped the Cardinals, 25-15, 25-10 and 25-17.

Madison Babinec led with 14 kills and three aces, while Mallori Whipple added six aces and four kills. Kaelinn Josza had eight kills and an ace. Ahria Doornbos chipped in four aces and three kills. Gracie Willea contributed 25 assists, three aces and two kills.

Oakridge will take on Fremont for the district title on Thursday at Whitehall.
