BEAL CITY – The Muskegon Catholic football team’s season came to an abrupt halt on Friday night in a Division 8 district title game.

The Crusaders lost to Beal City 45-6 margin to end their season with a 6-5 overall record.

MCC trailed 35-0 after the first quarter, 42-0 at halftime and 42-6 heading into the final stanza.

Henry Rosema scored the lone touchdown for the Crusaders on a 4-yard run.

Rosema led the Crusaders with 57 yards rushing on nine attempts while Bryan Convertini had 32 yards on 13 carries. Convertini also was 1-for-9 passing for 12 yards and two interceptions.

Easton Cook led the MCC defense with 7.5 tackles while Vince Szymanski had six and an interception.
